photo prompt: something growing
Today’s Practicing the Presence invitation:
Photograph something growing where no one planted it.
Then ask yourself:
Where is something growing in my life that I didn’t plan?
Practicing the presence is about noticing where God is already at work. We can spend a lot of time thinking about what we need to make happen, fix, or figure out. But not everything good in our lives is something we planted ourselves.
Sometimes growth just appears. Maybe something in you is changing. Maybe a new relationship is forming. Maybe you’re discovering an interest, a hope, or a little bit of courage you didn’t have before.
Today, look for something growing where no one planted it. Let it remind you to notice what might be quietly growing in you, too.
Where might God be at work without you having to make it happen?
