Take this test to find out if you are creative (even if you think you know the answer already!):

1. Have you noticed something lately that made you stop and pay attention?
   A sunset, an interesting building, a funny-shaped mushroom, a song, someone's words, a really good color?

2. Have you wondered about something just because you were curious?
   How something works? Why something is the way it is? What would happen if…?

3. Have you explored something recently?
   A trail, a new recipe, a new idea, a different way home, a book, a hobby?

4. Have you responded to something you've noticed?
   Taken a picture, told someone about it, looked it up, written it down, changed something, tried something?

5. Have you ever made something?
   Dinner counts. So does a garden, a spreadsheet, a Lego tower, a doodle, a plan, a playlist, a solution to a problem, or an actual piece of art.

6. Are you human?

Results:
If you answered yes to even a few of these (and especially that last one), congratulations: you're creative.

Because creativity isn't the same thing as being artistic. Creativity is our response to God's world through noticing, wondering, exploring, and making.
